A vibrant European capital with a rich scientific tradition — and a surprisingly affordable place to spend a week learning at the frontier of semiconductor technology.
Warsaw is one of Central Europe's most dynamic cities — a metropolis of 1.8 million people that has reinvented itself as a hub for technology, finance, and culture. It sits at the heart of the EU's fastest-growing economy and hosts the European headquarters of dozens of technology firms.
The city is easy to navigate, with a modern metro, extensive tram network, and abundant bike-share options. English is widely spoken, especially in the city centre and university districts. The cost of living remains well below Western European capitals, making a stay here genuinely affordable for visiting students.
Beyond the programme, Warsaw offers world-class museums, a thriving food scene, and a resilient spirit that comes through in every neighbourhood — from the meticulously rebuilt Old Town to the creative energy of Praga and Mokotów.
Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) is served by over 60 airlines with direct connections across Europe, including most ENHANCE Alliance partner cities. Typical flight time from Western Europe: 2–3 hours.
Accommodation, meals, and transport cost significantly less than Paris, London, or Amsterdam. Comfortable student hotels and hostels are available within walking distance of the campus.
Home to the Chopin Museum, POLIN Museum, Copernicus Science Centre, and a UNESCO-listed Old Town. There is always something to explore during evenings and free time.
The onsite component of ISEPS takes place at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, one of Poland's leading engineering faculties.
